Friends
Personal
What am I doing when I am not studying in the library hours on end?
Outside of being a student, I spend a lot of my free time with my friends. Throughout middle school and high school, I made a core group of friends that have been by my side ever since. Now, being in college, that group has gotten larger. Being in STEM has truly brought me closer to fellow students, either during finals week or just a typical Tuesday evening working on dynamics homework at the library. To the right are a few pictures of my friends that help me stay sane during the stressful times!
Sports
Another hobby of my friends and I is going to sporting events. Since we are at the best basketball school in the nation… we try and make the most of cheap student tickets while we can. Whether it's basketball, football, or baseball, we rally behind our school teams, trying to maintain our support even during rough times (such as when we experience early exits in the NCAA tournament).
Cars
Ever since I was a kid I have always had a deep interest in learning about cars. From personal projects like plasti-dipping my first car’s wheels, a 2007 Scion TC, to more intricate endeavors such as designing rocker arms for the 2024 Formula Kentucky FSAE car. Immersing myself in the dynamic world of automotive innovation has always been an interest of mine. This past year, my father and I attended the North American International Detroit Auto Show. Being able to see new vehicles displayed with state-of-the-art technology intrigues me to see what else might be possible.
Family
lastly, is the impact my family had on me growing up. Whether it was my parents pushing me to reach for the stars or my sister roasting me mercilessly, every moment with them shaped who I am today.
